Tipi

For those looking for an extra something a little different we have a limited number of our own Tipi available.

These are large enough to comfortably accommodate a group of 6 people.

As standards our Tipi pitches have an outdoor seating area available to sit out and overlook the woodland and ponds. Each pitch also had a fire pit to keep you warm and prepare food.

But I thought these were wigwams?

A common belief is that the conical shaped tent called a tipi (or teepee) and the wigwam were the same.

In actual fact the tipi was designed as a quickly erected dwelling shaped as ours are.
